The future won’t plan itself. stop arguing, start solving

While there are thousands of issues we could talk about, the biggest one comes down to land—how we use it, how we exchange it, and what we choose to do with it. The word “development” has been used to divide and inflame people to the point where we’re turning on each other. Who was here first? There’s too much traffic. Don’t put that—whether it’s a bike trail, landfill, or wastewater plant—anywhere near me.

My goal is simple: let’s find solutions. Let’s use the tools we have— data and open conversation about our vision—to better understand the facts and make informed decisions together.

I’m rolling out an action plan, one Comprehensive Plan element at a time. Not sure what that means? Come along and learn with me, neighbor.

Why am I doing this? Because I’m a licensed planner with more than two decades of experience. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the gridlock that happens when there isn’t enough experience at the table. What I’m sharing is a real example of ideas in action—people putting their money where their mouth is, being the change they want to see, and honoring our state’s strong tradition of property rights.
